Netflix Finds Its Robert Langdon with Morgan Spector for New Series Based on Dan Brown's "The Secret of Secrets"
The upcoming series is based on the mystery thriller novel from New York Times bestselling author, Dan Brown, and the sixth installment in his "Robert Langdon" series.

NETFLIX FINDS ITS ROBERT LANGDON WITH MORGAN SPECTOR FOR NEW SERIES BASED ON DAN BROWN'S "THE SECRET OF SECRETS"

· Today, Netflix announced that Morgan Spector (Black Rabbit, The Gilded Age) will play 'Robert Langdon' and lead the upcoming series adaptation based on the world of "The Secret of Secrets" - the mystery thriller novel from New York Times bestselling author, Dan Brown, and the sixth installment in his 'Robert Langdon' series.

o Character Description: Robert Langdon is a Harvard professor and world-renowned symbologist whose eidetic memory and puzzle-solving abilities help him unravel mysteries at the intersection of science and spirituality.

· Carlton Cuse is set to serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer, with Dan Brown set to executive produce.

· Carlton Cuse on what makes Morgan the right person for this role and specific story: "Morgan is a truly wonderful actor whose work is always filled with intelligence, thoughtfulness and humanity. He's the perfect fit for Robert Langdon -- a brilliant academic whose curiosity, intelligence and intellect are the tools of his trade."
