'The New SuperKitty' Full-Length Special Premiered Today on Disney Jr. and Will Be Available on Disney+ Tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 7

Halloween- and Thanksgiving-Themed Specials To Debut Later This Year

· SURPRISE! A full-length special, "The New SuperKitty," premiered today on Disney Jr. and Disney Jr. On Demand, revealing that Willa the Wildcat is officially joining the crew as the newest member of the cat-tastic superhero team featured in Disney Jr.'s hit series "SuperKitties." The special will be available to stream on Disney+ starting tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 7.

· In the special, the SuperKitties invite Willa to officially join them on the team after putting her skills to the test when Cat Burglar (voiced by Justin Guarini) and the Glamsters (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Utkarsh Ambudkar) team up to take over Kittydale.

· A new "Ready to Su-Purr Roar" music video, featuring Willa as the new SuperKitty, was also released today and is available here. The "Ready to Su-Purr Roar (Extended)" single will be available tomorrow on all digital platforms.

· Additionally, two full-length specials will debut later this fall:

o "Howl-O-Ween Charm" - When the Howl-o-ween Cat's charm is stolen, a group of Trixters escapes into Kittydale. The SuperKitties must put the Trixters back in the charm before their tricks ruin Howl-o-ween.

o "Friendsgiving Feast" - When the Glamsters steal treats and decorations around Kittydale, the SuperKitties and Willa race to save everyone's Friendsgiving traditions. Jenifer Lewis and Henry Winkler guest star in the special as Evie's glamorous grandma Glammy and Sam and Eddie's Uncle Tony, respectively.

· Since debuting in 2023, the "SuperKitties" fandom has continued to build with over 33.2 billion minutes watched across linear and streaming platforms, and nearly half a billion views on YouTube to date.*

· Fans of the hit series can enjoy an exciting lineup of new "SuperKitties"-inspired toys from Just Play, as well as apparel, costumes, books and more from Disney Consumer Products, available now at retailers nationwide.

· Additionally, "Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties," a fan-favorite stage show where kids can decorate cupcakes alongside their favorite superhero kittens, will return for a special one-day-only limited engagement during the upcoming Disney Jr. Let's Play! Party taking place at Disney California Adventure park on Aug. 13, 2026.
