Neal Huff, Gaby Hoffmann and Sky Yang Join Cast of "The Best of Us" (FKA "9/12") for Paramount+
"The Best of Us" dramatizes a landmark case that reshaped the fight for accountability: a relentless legal war that stretched nearly a decade to secure almost $1 billion in compensation for first responders who fell gravely ill in the wake of 9/11.

· Neal Huff, Emmy(R) Nominee Gaby Hoffmann, and Sky Yang will star alongside Emmy and Tony(R) Award Winner, Academy Award(R) Nominee and executive producer Jeremy Strong (Succession, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, The Apprentice) in The Best of Us, (formerly titled 9/12) the upcoming six-episode limited series for Paramount+ that tells the story of the David vs. Goliath fight that exposed corruption and won justice for 9/11's ailing heroes.

· Neal Huff (Fallout, A Murder at the End of the World) will play "Peter Allen," Jason's (Strong) pragmatic colleague at the law firm who is a sounding board and early on questions the viability of the case.

· Emmy nominee Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere) will play "Kathleen McCormick," a seasoned FDNY firefighter and activist who is deeply affected by the ongoing deaths from 9/11.

· Sky Yang (Last Days, Rebel Moon) will play "The Lost Son," a young and mysterious homeless man who has experienced hardship at a young age.

· The Best of Us dramatizes a landmark case that reshaped the fight for accountability: a relentless legal war that stretched nearly a decade to secure almost $1 billion in compensation for first responders who fell gravely ill in the wake of 9/11.

· As previously announced, Jeremy Strong stars as renowned class action lawyer "Jason Smith." Andrea Riseborough and Barry Pepper star as "Molly" and "Coach," respectively.

· Produced by Paramount Television Studios and SISTER, the limited series is written, directed and executive produced by Tobias Lindholm (The Investigation, A War) and written and executive produced by Frank Pugliese (House of Cards). Strong is also executive producer.

· Neal Huff can be seen this fall as John D. Rockefeller in The Gilded Age as well as in Crystal Lake. Other television credits include The Madness, Fallout, A Murder at the End of the World, The Sinner, Mare of Easttown and The Wire. In the Oscar winning film Spotlight, Neal played survivor and advocate, Phil Saviano. Other film credits include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Meek's Cutoff, Waves and Nasty Baby. Neal's most recent theatre credits include the Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird as Link Deas opposite Jeff Daniels and later, Bob Ewell opposite Ed Harris. Before that, he played Willie Oban in the Broadway production of The Iceman Cometh starring Denzel Washington.

· Gaby Hoffmann is currently shooting Little One where she stars opposite David Harbour and recently wrapped a supporting role in A24's Deep Cuts. She can be seen in Scott Cooper's Bruce Springsteen Biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere and will be seen soon in Kelly Reichardt's The Mastermind. Previous roles include Ali Pfefferman in the series Transparent; and Adam's erratic and mesmerizing sister Caroline in Girls. In film, noteworthy credits include C'mon, C'mon (opposite Joaquin Phoenix); Wild; Obvious Child; You Can Count on Me; 200 Cigarettes. Other current TV credits include Adam McKay's Winning Time; Zero Day opposite Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, and Robert DeNiro, andEric, opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.

· Sky Yang, following The Best of Us, Yang will begin production on Paramount Pictures' upcoming feature Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. He just finished filming on Unspeakable opposite Eliza Scanlen directed by Corinna Faith. He recently wrapped on The Exiles in Taiwan directed by Midi Z with Sam Worthington. Upcoming projects include The Uprising, directed by Paul Greengrass, starring Andrew Garfield and Cosmo Jarvis, in North American cinemas from September 11 2026. A LAMDA graduate (2020), Sky made his TV debut in Halo, followed by a leading role in Holding, directed by Kathy Burke. Sky made his stage debut in Nick Hytner's The Book of Dust at the Bridge Theatre. He made his Royal Court debut in Scenes from a Repatriation in 2025. Sky's film career started with a leading role in Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon followed by: Shoulders, Anniversary, and Whistle. He landed his first feature lead in Last Days, marking Justin Lin's return to independent filmmaking. Shot in 2024 after a series of delays, the film premiered at Sundance 2025.
