OXYGEN TRUE CRIME'S NEW DOCUMENTARY "THE HOOTERS MURDERS: DEADLY SHIFT" PREMIERES MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 AT 8:00 PM ET/PT

Two-Hour Documentary Dives into the Deadly Details Surrounding the Tragedy of Hooters Employees Targeted Due to Their Place of Work

August 13, 2026 - Oxygen, the home of high-quality, true-crime programming, will debut The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift, a new two-hour documentary exploring a series of targeted killings - with victims including a newlywed, college hopeful, young mother, and more - all singled out due to their jobs as Hooters employees. Though the ruthless slayings occurred across nearly a decade, the women shared a chilling connection to Hooters - some targeted by the uniform, others for their association with the brand. The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift premieres Monday, September 7 at 8 pm ET/PT on Oxygen.

Between 2001 and 2010, separated by thousands of miles, the victims shared one connection: they were all associated with Hooters. The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift is a two-hour documentary that unravels these tragic murders, exposing how young women who were linked to the iconic restaurant chain were preyed upon. What once was viewed as a golden ticket of opportunity led to dangerous dynamics, the abuse and demise of multiple women in the workplace.

From Florida to Nevada, the documentary uncovers the shocking and tragic experiences of the famed restaurant's "Hooters Girls" through interviews with current and past Hooters employees, victims' family members, journalists, and law enforcement agents about the crimes that cost multiple women their lives. The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift categorizes how the fondness turned obsession from customers infatuated with "Hooters Girls" turned into murder.

The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift is co-produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation (a part of Sony Pictures Television) and Expectation. Kevin Brennecke serves as showrunner with Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman of The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC) and Ben Wicks and Amy Dallmeyer of Expectation executive producing.
