Two Hearts for Rent is a series co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fulvio and Paola Lucisano for Italian International Film/Lucisano Media Group, and Federico and Francesco Scardamaglia for Compagnia Leone Cinematografica, and will be available worldwide exclusively on Prime Video

Prime Video today announced the female lead of its new Prime Original series Two Hearts for Rent (Due cuori in affitto), an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Italy's record-breaking author Felicia Kingsley. Jacqueline Luna will play the role of Stella, alongside Giacomo Gianniotti (Wild Cards, Grey's Anatomy) - previously announced as the male lead of the series, Blake Avery.

Following the success of No Place to Be Single, the first film adapted from a novel by Felicia Kingsley, Prime Video has announced the new Prime Original series Two Hearts for Rent, based on the beloved novel by the author - her best-selling book in Italy to date. For three consecutive years the most-read author in Italy, with over 4.5 million copies sold and 23 books published, translated in 20 countries, the Italian Felicia Kingsley is a true publishing phenomenon. Premio Selezione Bancarella 2026 for Scandalo a Hollywood, Premio Sicilia 2026, Author of the Year at the TikTok Book Awards 2024, and Premio Hemingway Lignano per il Futuro 2025, Kingsley has won over millions of readers with the witty, brilliant style of her contemporary fairy tales. Since her debut in 2017 with Matrimonio di convenienza , she has published numerous bestsellers (all published in Italy by Newton Compton Editori), including Two Hearts for Rent, to date her best-selling novel, and Una ragazza d'altri tempi, which established her as one of the most beloved voices in Italian contemporary romance. Adding to this long list of novels is her most recent work, First Lady per caso. Laura Chiossone, who directed No Place to be Single, will helm the series, penned by Alessandra Martellini, Giulia Magda Martinez and Matteo Visconti. The series will be available exclusively on Prime Video worldwide.

SYNOPSIS

Stella is an aspiring screenwriter with a mania for control and one last shot at making it. Blake is a seasoned bestselling author: chaotic, charming, and infuriatingly self-assured. Polar opposites in every way, the two find themselves forced to share a seaside villa and work side by side to save a TV series. The collision is inevitable: between late-night rewrites, sky-high tension, and attempts to sabotage each other, the line between rivalry and desire becomes dangerously thin.

The English edition of Felicia Kingsley's novel Two Hearts for Rent will be published by Amazon Crossing, an imprint of Amazon Publishing in June 2027.
