NETFLIX ANNOUNCES NEW DRAMA SERIES "LONESOME DOVE"

· Netflix and Teton Ridge Entertainment today announced a new drama series, Lonesome Dove. Netflix won the highly competitive project based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning western novel by Larry McMurtry and has ordered it straight-to-series.
· Lonesome Dove will reunite Zoe Kazan and Jeb Stuart, who will co-showrun the new series after also serving as co-showrunners for Netflix's highly anticipated limited series, East of Eden.
· Teton Ridge Entertainment acquired the rights to Lonesome Dove and tapped Kazan and Stuart to develop the series.
