'Collision Course,' the New Film by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, Premieres on Netflix on 30 October

Netflix today unveiled the premiere date, first trailer and first-look images from Collision Course, the new film directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo (DarkBlueAlmostBlack, Seventeen, Cousinhood), starring Laia Costa (Lullaby, One Love), Karra Elejalde (Spanish Affair, While at War), Luis Zahera (The Beasts, Animal), Tamar Novas (The Sea Inside, Gangs of Galicia), Álvaro Cervantes (Deaf, Crazy About Her) and Lluís Homar (Bad Education, Broken Embraces). The film will premiere on Netflix on 30 October.
Collision Course is a thriller in which no one is quite who they appear to be. The film is produced by Bambú Producciones (A Widow's Game, Cocaine Coast, The Alcàsser Murders, The Asunta Case), with Ramón Campos serving as executive producer and co-writer alongside Daniel Sánchez Arévalo.
The film marks acclaimed Spanish director Daniel Sánchez Arévalo's first thriller. In his own words: "Do you fancy changing genre?" Ramón asked me. I didn't hesitate for a second before giving him an emphatic yes. I was really keen to step outside my world and explore stories that didn't originate in my own head. When Ramón told me the story, I felt that it wasn't just the perfect vehicle - it was the perfect rollercoaster to take the audience on and try to give them an experience packed with action, suspense, intrigue, bewilderment, twists and pure fun. And I'm especially happy with the cast we've brought together: Laia, Karra, Luis, Tamar, Álvaro and Lluís. A true dream team."
