Prime Video Casts Molly Griggs, Matthew Noszka, and Tommy Martinez in "Things We Never Got Over"

The series, adapted from the New York Times bestselling novel by Lucy Score, is now in production

New York, NY - September 10, 2026 - Today, Prime Video announced the leads for Things We Never Got Over, the series adaptation of Lucy Score's bestselling novel. Molly Griggs (The Residence and Broadway's John Proctor is the Villain) is cast as twin sisters "Naomi Witt" and "Tina Witt", Matthew Noszka (All's Fair) is cast as "Knox Morgan," and Tommy Martinez (Good Trouble, Laid) is cast as "Nash Morgan." The series is now in production. Amazon Original Series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

When runaway bride Naomi Witt (Griggs) arrives in the quirky town of Knockemout, Virginia, she expects to rescue her estranged twin (Griggs) and return to the life she left behind. Instead, her sister disappears, leaving Naomi with a niece she never knew existed, a town full of irresistible characters - including charming local sheriff Nash Morgan (Martinez) and his decidedly grumpy but infuriatingly sexy brother Knox Morgan (Noszka) - and a future she never imagined.

Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder wrote the pilot for the upcoming series adaptation and will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Gina Girolamo will executive produce through her production company, Strega Stories. Book author Lucy Score will serve as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.

Score is a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of contemporary romance who has sold more than 15 million books worldwide in 35 languages. The first book in Score's Knockemout trilogy, Things We Never Got Over, spent 32 consecutive weeks on the New York Times bestsellers list and was one of the most-read titles on Kindle Unlimited since its release in 2022, with sequels completing the trilogy in 2023.

Molly Griggs starred as "Lilly Schumacher," the White House Social Secretary in Shondaland's The Residence for Netflix. Griggs has recurred in several series including Dr. Death, Succession, Servant & Prodigal Son. Additional TV/Film credits include Puzzled (pilot), Law & Order: SVU, Bull, Instinct, Magnum P.I., New Amsterdam, FBI: Most Wanted, The Good Doctor, and the independent feature Before I Go. Broadway credits include: John Proctor is the Villain and Hello, Dolly! Off-Broadway: MTC's Linda. Upcoming: CIA and the independent short film All Night Long.

Matthew Noszka is an actor and model who most recently starred in Ryan Murphy's Hulu legal drama All's Fair, opposite Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor and Naomi Watts. Noszka plays Chase, a retired professional football player and the ex-husband of Kardashian's character, Allura. His previous acting credits include No Hard Feelings opposite Jennifer Lawrence, FOX's Star, Netflix's Let It Snow, Amazon's Perfect Addiction and Marked Men. Prior to his transition into acting, Noszka built an internationally recognized modeling career, appearing in major fashion campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Alo Yoga and Hugo Boss. With a growing slate of film and television projects, he continues to establish himself as a dynamic presence across both entertainment and fashion.

Tommy Martinez is an American actor whose work across film and television is marked by a compelling screen presence and emotional authenticity. He recently starred in DISCLOSURE DAY, from Steven Spielberg, appearing opposite Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, and Colman Domingo. He also starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland in the feature Brothers In Arms. Previously, he starred in the Peacock series Laid, continuing to demonstrate his versatility across character-driven storytelling. Martinez first garnered widespread attention for his portrayal of Gael Martinez on Freeform's Good Trouble, delivering a layered performance that resonated with audiences and critics alike. His additional credits include Riverdale, Hunters, The Mosquito Coast, and Bosch, underscoring a range that spans both network and streaming platforms.
