Prime Video confirms the fourth and final season of "Betty, La Fea: La Historia Continúa" for early 2027
Beatriz Pinzón Solano will return to Ecomoda after a surprising revelation during the finale of The Master Joke of: Betty, The Ugly One.
MEXICO CITY, Mexico - September 24, 2026 - Prime Video confirmed that the fourth and final season of Betty, La Fea: La Historia Continúa will arrive in early 2027, marking the end of one of Latin America's most beloved and successful series. The announcement comes after the surprising reveal during the final episode of La broma maestra de: Betty, La Fea , now available on Prime Video, where viewers saw up-and-coming actor Diego Caicedo unexpectedly become the star of the show, an experience that ultimately led to him landing a role in the final season of the acclaimed series.
"When audiences first met Betty 27 years ago, I never imagined the impact she would have, and continues to have, around the world. Fans fell in love with Betty for challenging perceptions of beauty and have continued to support her throughout her journey of self-discovery, romantic relationships, professional challenges, and motherhood," said Ana María Orozco , who portrayed Betty in the original telenovela more than two decades ago and in every season of the hit Prime Video series. Betty, La Fea: La Historia Continúa broke Prime Video's global viewership records for a Latin American title when it debuted in 2014 and has since become one of the most-watched shows of all time in Colombia, reconnecting millions of viewers with the beloved characters of Ecomoda and attracting a new generation of fans. The fourth and final season, directed by Juan Carlos Mazo , will feature the return of the original cast to reprise their iconic fan-favorite roles, including Ana María Orozco, Jorge Enrique Abello , Natalia Ramírez , Julián Arango , Lorna Cepeda , Mario Duarte , Juanita Molina , and Carlos "Pity" Camacho, among others.

This series was selected to receive the CINA incentive (Audiovisual Investment Certificate), granted by the Colombian government and administered by Proimágenes Colombia, a tax discount equivalent to 35% of the expenditure on audiovisual services in the country.
