Apple TV announces a second season for the International Emmy Award-nominated French drama "Carême," starring Benjamin Voisin and directed by Martin Bourboulon

On the heels of its International Emmy Award nomination for Drama Series, Apple TV today announced a season two for the provocative French-language drama "Carême," starring César Award winner Benjamin Voisin and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Martin Bourboulon ("Les Trois Mousquetaires: D'Artagnan"). The delicious series, slated to begin filming next week in Paris, also stars César Award nominee Jérémie Renier ("My Way") and Alice Da Luz ("Hanami").

Following its global debut just one year ago, the "thrilling and sumptuous" drama "Carême" has been hailed as an "irresistible" "visual and narrative feast" featuring Voisin's "charismatic and complex" "portrayal of the 'first celebrity chef.'" "Carême" follows the thrilling story of the world's first celebrity chef, Antonin Carême (Voisin), who rose from humble beginnings in Paris to the height of culinary stardom in Napoleon's Europe.
