Prime Video Casts Sean Teale, Sarah Jeffery, Megan Stott, Lili Simmons, Anthony Keyvan, JoBeth Williams in Things We Never Got Over

New York, NY - October 5, 2026 - Today, Prime Video announced casting for Things We Never Got Over, the series adaptation of Lucy Score's bestselling novel. Sean Teale (Doctor Odyssey, Only Murders in the Building) is cast as "Lucian", Sarah Jeffery (The Six Triple Eight, Charmed) is cast as "Sloane", Megan Stott (Penelope, Little Fires Everywhere) is cast as "Waylay", Lili Simmons (Double Down South, Power Book IV: Force, Bone Tomahawk) is cast as "Lina", Anthony Keyvan (Just Picture It, XO, Kitty) is cast as "Stef", and JoBeth Williams (Poltergeist, Behemoth!) is cast as "Liza J.". Previously announced cast members include Molly Griggs (The Residence and Broadway's John Proctor is the Villain) as twin sisters "Naomi" and "Tina", Matthew Noszka (All's Fair) as "Knox", and Tommy Martinez (Good Trouble, Laid) as "Nash". The Amazon Original Series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
When runaway bride Naomi Witt (Griggs) arrives in the quirky town of Knockemout, Virginia, she expects to rescue her estranged twin (Griggs) and return to the life she left behind. Instead, her sister disappears, leaving Naomi with a niece she never knew existed, a town full of irresistible characters - including charming local sheriff Nash Morgan (Martinez) and his decidedly grumpy but infuriatingly sexy brother Knox Morgan (Noszka) - and a future she never imagined.
Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder wrote the pilot for the upcoming series adaptation and will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Gina Girolamo will executive produce through her production company, Strega Stories. Book author Lucy Score will serve as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Score is a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of contemporary romance who has sold more than 15 million books worldwide in 35 languages. The first book in Score's Knockemout trilogy, Things We Never Got Over, spent 32 consecutive weeks on the New York Times bestsellers list and was one of the most-read titles on Kindle Unlimited since its release in 2022, with sequels completing the trilogy in 2023.

Sean Teale got his start on the British cult classic SKINS, which kicked off a stream of starring roles in television in his 15-year career. He has starred in the Netflix limited series WHO IS ERIN CARTER?, the Apple+ series LITTLE VOICE from producer JJ Abrams, the Syfy series INCORPORATED from producers Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, the Marvel series THE GIFTED for Fox, and most recently as "Tristan Silva" in Ryan Murphy's feel-good series DOCTOR ODYSSEY opposite Joshua Jackson. Sarah Jeffery is a Canadian actress and singer known for her versatile work across film, television, and music. Notably, she starred opposite Kerry Washington in Tyler Perry's acclaimed Netflix feature The Six Triple Eight, inspired by the true story of the only all-Black, all-female U.S. battalion to serve overseas during the Second World War. Sarah is best known internationally for her role as Audrey in Disney's blockbuster Descendants franchise, including her breakout performance of "Queen of Mean," which reached the Billboard Hot 100. On television, she starred as Maggie Vera in all four seasons of The CW's Charmed, following three seasons opposite Jennifer Lopez in NBC's Shades of Blue and an Award-nominated performance in Wayward Pines. Her additional credits include Rogue and the award-winning independent feature Across the Line, directed by Director X. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, she began performing at age three and continues to pursue projects that challenge expectations and showcase her range as a storyteller.

Simmons also stars opposite Kurt Russell and Patrick Wilson in the acclaimed Western Horror feature BONE TOMAHAWK, which recently had a resurgence on Netflix. Simmons first garnered recognition for her breakout performance as 'Rebecca Bowman' on the Cinemax series BANSHEE (HBO Max). She remains a fan favorite for her fearless performance. Simmons can most recently be seen as a series regular on POWER BOOK IV: FORCE. She just wrapped the third and final season. JoBeth Williams has built a remarkable career across film, television and theater, starring in more than thirty feature films including Poltergeist I & II, The Big Chill, Kramer vs. Kramer, American Dreamer and Fever Pitch.
