Friday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Tops Demos with "20/20"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/5/20):

ABC (3.823 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1) led the demo race on Friday with a repeat "Shark Tank" (3.644 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) and a new two-hour "20/20" (3.912 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1).

FOX (1.935 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) was a close second with its weekly installment of "WWE SmackDown" (1.935 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3).

Next up was CBS (4.076 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and its repeat trio of "MacGyver" (3.857 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), "Magnum P.I." (4.090 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) and "Blue Bloods" (4.282 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.254 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) offered up second runs of "World of Dance" (2.146 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8), "The Wall" (2.047 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) and "Dateline NBC" (2.569 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4).

And finally, The CW (0.591 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with a new "Masters of Illusion" (0.705 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) followed by repeats of "Masters of Illusion" (0.582 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.525 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10) and another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.551 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T10).

NBC (3.046 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #2) then was a distant second with a repeat "American Ninja Warrior" (2.739 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) followed by "Dateline NBC" (3.659 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4).

Next up was CBS (3.738 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #3) with a new "Whistleblower" (3.591 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6) alongside second runs of "Hawaii Five-0" (3.388 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8) and "Blue Bloods" (4.235 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.354 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) offered up encores of "Beat Shazam" (1.431 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8) and "MasterChef" (1.278 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T8).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.3/2 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," delayed by an NBA Finals overrun.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" was delayed by an NBA Finals overrun.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
