Third Quarter 2005 to Date, Hallmark Channel Ranks #10 in Total Day And
#9 in Prime Time
Hallmark Channel is maintaining its summer ratings stampede with the premiere
of the highly acclaimed Hallmark Channel Original movie, �The Colt,� (Sat., July 9, 9-
11P) and its big week of Westerns. For Prime Time, Hallmark Channel delivered its 3rd
highest-rated week for 2005 and its 7th highest-rated week ever (1.1 HH rating /785,000
homes), during the week of July 4-10 (Nielsen Media Research July 4-10, 2005).
The premiere of �The Colt� delivered 2.6 million unduplicated viewers and
became the 17th highest-rated telecast in the network�s history by delivering a 1.6 HH
rating, peaking at a 1.8. HH rating (in its third half hour).
In the 9-11P time period, �The Colt� ranked among the top 10 in households and
among key demo ratings, ranking #7 in HH rating (1.6), #9 in W25-54 rating (.6) and
#8 in A25-54 rating (.5), versus the 59 ad-supported cable networks (Nielsen Media
Research, July 9).
Third quarter 2005 to date (6/27-7/10/05), Hallmark Channel ranks #10 in Total
Day (.7 HH rating) and #9 in Prime Time (1.2 HH rating) among the 59 ad-supported
cable networks.

of high-quality entertainment programming to a national audience of 69 million
subscribers. The program service is distributed through 4,800 cable systems and
communities as well as direct-to-home satellite services across the country. Crown
