According to Jim/Rodney (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

From 8:00-9:00 p.m., ABCs Tuesday comedy block delivered strong audience retention. In its second season premiere in its new 8:30pm time slot, Rodney retained 95% of its Total Viewer lead-in (7.5 million vs. 7.9 million) and 96% among Adults 18-49 (2.7/7 vs. 2.8/7) coming out of According to Jim. In addition, Rodney built on its lead among Men 18-34 (1.7/6 vs. 1.6/6) and Teens 12-17 (1.4/5 vs. 1.2/5).

Commander In Chief (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Again surging from its lead-in and growing throughout its telecast, ABCs Commander In Chief towered over its competition in the hour, outdrawing its nearest competitor by 5.3 million viewers (16.7 million vs. 11.4 million CBS Amazing Race). On its second ever telecast in the time slot, the ABC drama finished in a virtual tie for first place with NBC among Adults 18-49 (4.8/12 vs. 4.9/12) and straight-out won the hour among Adults 25-54 (6.4/14) and Women 18-49 (5.8/13). Commander In Chief qualified as the most-watched TV show on Tuesday for the second straight week.

Up from its week-earlier series debut by 2% in Total Viewers (16.7 million vs. 16.4 million) and by 12% in Adults 18-49 (4.8/12 vs. 4.3/10), ABCs Commander In Chief becomes the first and only new TV series this season to build its audience from Week 1 to Week 2. Commander In Chief was also up from its debut telecast in Adults 25-54 (6.4/14 vs. 5.8/13), Adults 18-34 (3.1/9 vs. 2.7/7) and Teens 12-17 (1.4/5 vs. 1.3/4).
