New York, NY (December 22, 2005) � Closing out a historic year in which MTV reached more viewers across more platforms than ever before, the network today announced that 2005 was the highest rated year in the channel�s existence among P12-34. In addition, 2005 marked the 14th consecutive year that MTV has reigned as the #1 rated 24 hour basic cable network among P12-24.
