Each Episode of CHRIS Scores Time Period Gains in Key Demos

UPN's holiday-themed EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS-mas Week, which featured episodes of EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS from Monday to Thursday at 8PM, successfully attracted 3.9 million new viewers who had never seen an episode of UPN's new hit comedy, based on Nielsen ratings for the week ending Dec. 25.

UPN delivered more growth this week than any other network compared to the same week a year ago in all key demos, including adults 18-34 (20%), women 18-34 (25%), women 18-49 (8%) and total viewers (6%).

UPN beat the WB again this week in every key demo, including adults 18-34 (1.2/4 v. 0.8/3), adults 18-49 (1.1/3 v. 0.8/2), women 18-34 (1.5/5 v. 0.9/3), women 18-49 (1.3/4 v. 0.9/3) and viewers (2.9mil v./ 2.0mil).

This season, UPN has firmly established itself as the fifth-ranked network in key demos, beating the WB by double-digit percentages in both adults 18-34 and women 18-34.

UPN is also the network with the largest gains this season in its target demos, posting more year-to-year growth than any other network in adults 18-34 (7%, 1.6/5), women 18-34 (11%, 2.1/6) and women 18-49 (6%, 1.8/5).

The EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS episode entitled "Everybody Hates Christmas" improved the year ago time period by +8% in adults 18-34 (1.4/4), +8% in adults 18-49 (1.4/4) and +30% in viewers (3.4mil).

TUESDAY - 12/20/05

The EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS episode entitled "Everybody Hates Fat Mike" ranked second in the time period among adults 18-34 (1.8/6) and women 18-34 (2.0/6), behind only NBC.

"Everybody Hates Fat Mike" improved the year ago time period by +80% in adults 18-34 (1.8/6), +70% in adults 18-49 (1.7/5), +54% in women 18-34 (2.0/6), +46% in women 18-49 (1.9/5) and +71% in viewers (4.0mil).

WEDNESDAY - 12/21/05

The EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS episode entitled "Everybody Hates Greg" improved the year ago time period by +75% in adults 18-34 (1.4/5), +63% in adults 18-49 (1.3/4), +55% in women 18-34 (1.7/5), +36% in women 18-49 (1.5/5) and +75% in viewers (3.3mil).

THURSDAY- 12/22/05

The EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS episode entitled "Everybody Hates the Laundromat" was second in the time period among adults 18-34 (1.7/6) and women 18-34 (2.1/7), behind only NBC.

"Everybody Hates the Laundromat" improved the year ago time period by +21% in adults 18-34 (1.7/6), +133% in women 18-34 (2.1/7) and +80% in women 18-49 (1.8/6).
