Great Sampling Opportunity Is Not Missed Against The State of The Union Address
�Gilmore Girls� Continues To Be The Proud Runner-Up to American Idol In Adults 18-34 & Persons 12-34
The WB's freshman drama �Supernatural� achieved all-time ratings highs for the series in women 18-34 (3.3/8) adults 18-49 (2.6/6) as well as women 18-49 (3.1/7) and men 18-49 (2.1/5), households (3.8/6) and total viewers (5,823,000) last night in a great sampling opportunity against The State of the Union address in most of the country. The freshman series, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, also tied its all time highs last night in adults 18-34 (2.6/7) in the episode titled Route 666.
At 8:00, �Gilmore Girls� continues to be the only significant competition against �American Idol� in the time slot, scoring excellent #2 ranks in Adults 18-34 (2.6/7) and women 18-34(3.9/10) as well as persons 12-34 (2.5/7) and women 12-34 (3.8/10). In women 18-34 and females 12-34, �Gilmore Girls� more than doubled and in some cases more than tripled the ratings in the time slot for any other network's programs except for �Idol.�
