The Most-Watched TV Program on Tuesday, ABC�s �Dancing with the Stars� Leads its Time Period by 8 Million Viewers and by 24% in Adults 18-49

Season 3 Premiere of �Dancing with the Stars� is Up by 2.6 Million Viewers And by 19% Among Adults 18-49 over its Second Season Opener in January

�Dancing with the Stars� Opens with Television�s Biggest Audience for Any Entertainment Program Since the Season Finale of �American Idol� in May

ABC�s Preview of �Men in Trees� Gets Strong Sampling, Winning the 10 O�clock Hour and Generating ABC�s Top Series Numbers in the Slot in Nearly 8 Months

With the third season premiere of �Dancing with the Stars� and a preview airing of �Men in Trees,� ABC stood as the No. 1 TV network on Tuesday night in viewers and young adults. The Network outpaced second-place Fox on the night by 5.3 million viewers (17.4 million vs. 12.1 million) and by 9% in Adults 18-49 (5.0/14 vs. 4.6/12).

� ABC generated its most-watched non-sports Tuesday in nearly 5 years � since 10/10/00. The Net logged its highest non-sports Adult 18-49 rating on the evening since November 2003 � since 11/11/03.

�Dancing with the Stars� (8:00-10:00 p.m.)

Although it faced formidable competition in its third season premiere, including Fox�s �House� and the season finale of CBS� �Big Brother 7,� ABC�s �Dancing with the Stars� soared to the top of its time period. From 8:00-10:00 p.m., �Dancing with the Stars� outdrew its nearest competition (Fox) by 8 million viewers (20.1 million vs. 12.1 million) and by 24% in Adults 18-49 (5.7/15 vs. 4.6/12). �Dancing with the Stars� was the most-watched television show on Tuesday, qualifying as the most-watched entertainment program on all of TV since the season finale of �American Idol� in May (5/24/06).

� �Dancing with the Stars� was up substantially from its second season premiere in January, growing 2.6 million viewers and 19% in Adults 18-49 (17.5 million & 4.8/12 on 1/5/06). In fact it was the third-highest-rated telecast ever for �DWTS,� behind only the season finales of season 2 and season 1, respectively.

� �Dancing with the Stars� produced ABC�s largest non-sports audience in the time period in nearly 5 years � since 10/3/00. It was the Net�s highest non-sports Adult 18-49 number in almost 3 years � since 11/4/03.

�Men in Trees Preview� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Receiving strong sampling on its Tuesday preview, before it moves to its regular Friday 9:00-10:00 p.m. time period, ABC�s �Men in Trees� ranked No. 1 during the 10 o�clock hour. �Men in Trees� outpaced its closest competition (NBC) by 38% in Total Viewers (12.1 million vs. 8.8 million) and by 23% in Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 3.0/8).

� The preview telecast of �Men in Trees� generated ABC�s largest audience and top Adult 18-49 rating in the hour with series programming in nearly 8 months � since 1/24/06.
