CSI: MIAMI continued its reign as Monday's most watched and highest rated program in key demographics, opening the season with a convincing time period win against the highly promoted premiere of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," according to live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Sept. 18, the first night of the new television season.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: MIAMI (P) was first in households (11.2/18), viewers (17.21m), adults 25-54 (7.2/16) and adults 18-49 (5.7/14). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" by +30% in households (vs. 8.6/14), +20% in adults 25-54 (vs. 6.0/14), +14% in adults 18-49 (vs. 5.0/13) and by +3.82m viewers (vs. 13.39m, +29%).

The series premiere of THE CLASS got off to a strong start, posting a 6.9/11 with 10.58 million viewers, 4.6/12 in adults 25-54, 3.7/11 in adults 18-49 and 2.8/09 in adults 18-34, second in households, viewers, adults 25-54.

This is CBS's best premiere week performance Monday at 8PM since 2002 in adults 18-34 and since 2003 in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Compared to the same night last year ("The King of Queens"), THE CLASS improved the time period by +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.6/10) and +8% in adults 18-34 (from 2.6/08).

The second season premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (P) was second in households (6.8/10), viewers (10.47), adults 25-54 (4.8/11), third in adults 18-49 (3.8/10, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-34 (3.0/09). Compared to last year's premiere, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is up +7% in both adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10) and adults 18-34 (from 2.8/08). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER improved on its lead-in by +4% in adults 25-54, +3% in adults 18-49 and +7% in adults 18-34.

The season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MEN (P) was Number One in households (9.7/14), adults 25-54 (6.7/15), tied for first in adults 18-49 (5.0/12, with NBC) and second in viewers (15.07m). Compared to last year's premiere, TWO AND A HALF MEN is up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/13), even in viewers (15.07m from 15.04m) and on par in adults 18-49 (5.0/12 from 5.1/12)

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE (P) was second in households (8.1/12), viewers (12.14), adults 25-54 (5.5/10) and adults 18-49 (4.2/10).

For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (6.0/12) and second in viewers (13.78m) and adults 18-49 (4.7/12, -0.2 behind NBC).

CSI: MIAMI continued its reign as Monday's most watched and highest rated program in key demographics, opening the season with a convincing time period win against the highly promoted premiere of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Monday, Sept. 18, the first night of the new television season.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: MIAMI (P) was first in households (11.4/18), viewers (17.62m), adults 25-54 (7.4/17) and adults 18-49 (5.8/15). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" by +33% in households (vs. 8.6/14), +23% in adults 25-54 (vs. 6.0/14), +16% in adults 18-49 (vs. 5.0/13) and by +4.21m viewers (vs. 13.41m, +31%).

The series premiere of THE CLASS got off to a strong start, posting a 6.9/11 with 10.48 million viewers, 4.6/12 in adults 25-54, 3.6/10 in adults 18-49 and 2.7/09 in adults 18-34, second in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

This is CBS's best premiere week performance Monday at 8PM since 2003 in adults 25-54, since 2004 in adults 18-34 and matches last year's delivery in adults 18-49. Compared to the same night last year ("The King of Queens"), THE CLASS improved the time period by +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/10) and +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.6/08).

The second season premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (P) was second in households (6.8/10), viewers (10.48m), adults 25-54 (4.9/11), third in adults 18-49 (3.8/10, -0.2 behind FOX) and adults 18-34 (3.0/08). Compared to last year's premiere, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10) and +7% in adults 18-34 (from 2.8/08). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER improved on its lead-in by +7% in adults 25-54, +6% in adults 18-49 and +11% in adults 18-34.

The season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MEN (P) was Number One in households (9.7/14), adults 25-54 (6.7/15), tied for first in adults 18-49 (5.0/12, with NBC) and second in viewers (15.09m). Compared to last year's premiere, TWO AND A HALF MEN is up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 6.3/13), even in viewers (15.09m from 15.04m) and on par in adults 18-49 (5.0/12 from 5.1/12)

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE (P) was second in households (8.0/12), viewers (12.01m), adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.2/10).

For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and second in viewers (13.89m) and adults 18-49 (4.7/12, -0.3 behind NBC).
