Desperate Housewives (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Sundays No. 1 TV show for the second week in a row with Total Viewers (21.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (8.5/19), ABCs Desperate Housewives overshadowed its competition in the 9 oclock hour, beating CBS Cold Case and NBCs Sunday Night Football by wide margins on both measures. Desperate Housewives was also dominant in the hour and ranked as the top-rated television program of the evening among Adults 18-34 (7.3/19) and Adults 25-54 (9.7/20).

Brothers & Sisters (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

With strong retention of its week earlier series debut numbers and similar lead-in retention, ABCs Brothers & Sisters continued to beat its CBS drama competition in the 10 oclock hour across the key Adult demos. ABCs Brothers & Sisters defeated CBS Without a Trace by 54% in Adults 18-34 (4.3/12 vs. 2.8/8), by 28% in Adults 18-49 (5.5/14 vs. 4.3/11) and by 16% in Adults 25-54 (6.4/15 vs. 5.5/13).
