"60 MINUTES" DRAWS ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE IN SIX MONTHS
60 MINUTES drew its largest audience in six months this past Sunday (1), posting a 10.0/16 with 15.13m viewers, 4.8/12 in adults 25-54 and 3.7/10 in adults 18-49. It was the number one news magazine's best delivery in households, viewers, and key demos since March 26, 2006.
Sunday's audience numbers put 60 MINUTES among the 15 most-watched programs for the week, ranking 11th in households and 13th in viewers, according to Nielsen.
The broadcast featured Mike Wallace's interview with reporter/author Bob Woodward, Lesley's Stahl's segment on a new treatment for deeply depressed patients, and Ed Bradley's report about a disturbing national trend of teenagers assaulting the homeless.
