THE CW'S COMEDIES, "SMALLVILLE" AND "SMACKDOWN" ALL REACH NEW SEASON HIGHS THIS WEEK
The CW Remains Ahead of WB for the Season in Target Adults and Women 18-34
November 7, 2006 (Burbank, CA) - All four of The CW's comedies, Thursday's "Smallville" and "Friday Night SmackDown" climbed to new season highs, for the week ending Nov. 5, 2006.
Season to date, The CW Network is above The WB last year with regularly scheduled programming in the network's target demos of adults 18-34 (1.7/5, +6%) and women 18-34 (2.2/6, +5%). CW mirrors The WB's scheduling model with 6 nights and 13 hours of primetime programming. The CW matches UPN, which programmed 3 fewer primetime hours, with regularly scheduled programming in all demos, including adults 18-34 and women 18-34

The CW's comedy block scored its most watched night of the season (3.2mil), as "Everybody Hates Chris" (3.6mil), "All of Us" (3.1mil), "Girlfriends" (3.1mil) and "The Game" (2.9mil) all delivered their largest audiences of the year.
"Chris" also hit season highs in adults 18-49 (1.4/4) and women 18-49 (1.7/5). "The Game" scored its best women 18-34 (2.1/5) and women 18-49 (1.9/4) rating of the season.

"Friday Night SmackDown" climbed to new season highs in adults 18-34 (1.7/6), men 18-34 (2.1/8) and adults 18-49 (1.6/5).
The CW won the second night of the Nov. Sweep in men 18-34 and teens (2.4/10), while ranking second among men 18-49 (2.0/7-tie).

"7th Heaven" delivered double-digit week-to-week gains in adults 18-34 (1.4/4, +27%), women 18-34 (2.0/5, +25%), adults 18-49 (1.4/3, +27%), women 18-49 (2.0/5, +33%) and viewers (3.9mil, +22%).
