"Beauty & The Geek" Builds in Second Half Hour with Double-Digit Gains
"Beauty & The Geek" Retains Nearly 100% of First Hour of Last Week's Premiere
January 11, 2007 (Burbank, CA) - The CW's "Beauty & the Geek" won the 8:00-9:00 p.m. hour in the network's target demos of adults 18-34 (2.4/7) and women 18-34 (2.9/8), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007.
"Beauty & The Geek" posted its best second week performance in the show's history in key categories. Compared to the previous cycle's second episode (1/19/06), last night's second telecast was up 26% in women 18-34, 4% in adults 18-34 and 10% in women 18-49 (2.3/6).
"Beauty & The Geek" scored double-digit gains in the second half-hour across the board, improving at 8:30 by 29% in adults 18-34, 23% in women 18-34, 22% in adults 18-49, 24% in women 18-49 and 17% in viewers.
Compared to the first hour of last week's premiere, "Beauty & The Geek" retained 96% of the adults 18-34 audience, 97% of women 18-34 audience, 100% of adults 18-49 (2.0/5) audience and 96% of women 18-49 audience.
