CSI Averages 21.3 Million Viewers

"Shark" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demographics, Matching Best Adult 18-49 and Adult 25-54 Ratings of the Season

CBS won Thursday in viewers as CSI, featuring the introduction of new investigator Michael Keppler (Liev Shreiber) averaged 21.3 million viewers while SHARK won its time period in viewers and key demographics, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 18.

CSI was second in households (13.2/19), viewers (21.28m, -610,000 viewers behind ABC), adults 25-54 (8.5/18), adults 18-49 (6.9/16) and adults 18-34 (5.2/14).

At 10:00 PM, SHARK was first in households (9.8/16), viewers (15.03m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and adults 18-49 (4.4/12). This matches the best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 delivery for SHARK to date and is the best households and viewers delivery since 11/16/06.

At 8:00 PM, a CSI rebroadcast averaged a 7.8/12 in households with 12.26 million viewers.

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (16.19m), tied for first in households (10.3/16, with ABC) and second in adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.9/12).

Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

CSI Averages 21.4 Million Viewers

"Shark" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demographics, Matching Best Adult 18-49 and Adult 25-54 Ratings of the Season

CBS won Thursday in viewers as CSI, featuring the introduction of new investigator Michael Keppler (Liev Shreiber) averaged 21.4 million viewers while SHARK won its time period in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Jan. 18.

At 9:00 PM, CSI was second in households (13.3/20), viewers (21.41m, -530,000 viewers behind ABC), adults 25-54 (8.5/18), adults 18-49 (6.9/16) and adults 18-34 (5.2/14).

SHARK was first in households (9.8/16), viewers (15.10m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and adults 18-49 (4.4/12). This matches the best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 delivery for SHARK to date and the second best households and viewers delivery (behind 11/16/06).

At 8:00 PM, a CSI rebroadcast averaged a 7.6/12 in households with 11.92 million viewers.

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (16.18m), second in households (10.2/16, -0.1 behind ABC), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.9/12).
