Wednesday's "Pussycat Dolls" Encore Again Improves Over Tuesday Original Across The Board

March 27, 2007 (Burbank, California) - For the week ending March 25, 2007, The CW continues to outpace both UPN and The WB a year ago in the target demos of adults 18-34 (1.4.4, up 27% vs WB, 8% vs. UPN) and women 18-34 (1.9/5, up 27% vs WB, 6% vs. UPN).

Among all shows this week, "America's Next Top Model" ranked #7 with women 18-34 (5.4/15) and #17 among adults 18-34 (3.1/10).

Season to date (through Sunday 3/25/07), The CW is delivering year-to-year gains over both UPN and The WB in the target demos of adults 18-34 (1.5/4, 7% over UPN and WB) and women 18-34 (1.9/5, 6% over both UPN and WB).

Nightly Highlights for Week Ending March 25, 2007:

TUESDAY

Despite facing tough competition for the second week in a row from a two-hour "American Idol," The CW's new hit "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" continued to rank second in the target demos of women 18-34 (2.6/6), teens (2.2/7) and female teens (3.4/10), beating the Big 3.

"Pussycat Dolls" scored week-to-week growth in key demos, gaining 6% in adults 18-34 (1.7/5), 8% in women 18-34 (2.6/6), 27% in adults 18-49 (1.4/3), 19% in women 18-49 (1.9/4), 10% in teens (2.2/7), 6% in female teens (3.4/10) and 24% in viewers (3.1mil).

"Pussycat Dolls" improved dramatically on its encore "Gilmore Girls" lead-in across the board, building 70% in adults 18-34, 73% in women 18-34, 75% in adults 18-49, 58% in women 18-49, 100% in teens, 100% in female teens and 48% in viewers.

"Pussycat Dolls" continues to outperform The CW's Tuesday 9:00p.m. time period by 31% in adults 18-34, 37% in women 18-34, 27% in adults 18-49, 27% in women 18-49, 57% in teens, 62% in female teens and 26% in viewers.

WEDNESDAY

The CW's hit "America's Next Top Model" once again ranked first from 8-9:00p.m. with adults 18-34 (3.1/10-tie), women 18-34 (5.4/15), teens (2.8/10), female teens (4.7/16). "Top Model" beat both ABC and NBC in adults 18-49 (2.5/7) and women 18-49 (4.0/11).

"Top Model" posted The CW's best ratings in the time period since the finale of "Top Model" 7 back on Dec. 6, 2006 in adults 18-34, women 18-34, adults 18-49 and women 18-49.

"Top Model" scored week-to-week increases of 7% in adults 18-34, 17% in women 18-34, 4% in adults 18-49 and 8% in women 18-49.

Once again, The CW's latest hit "Pussycat Dolls" encore outperformed its Tuesday original telecast by 12% in women 18-34 (2.9/7) and 16% in women 18-49 (2.2/5).

The "Pussycat Dolls" encore topped the big 3 in teens (1.9/6) and female teens (3.1/10) and beat ABC and NBC in women 18-34 (2.9/7). The "Pussycat Dolls" repeat outperformed NBC's original "Crossing Jordan" in adults 18-34 (1.8/5) and women 18-49 (2.2/5).

Overall, The CW ranked second on Wednesday in women 18-34 (4.1/11), teens (2.4/8) and female teens (3.9/13), behind only Fox. The CW also topped ABC and NBC from 8-10pm in adults 18-34 (2.5/7) and women 18-49 (3.1/8).
