Quick Take for Monday, April 30, 2007 Final Ratings

With its Strongest Results in 5 Weeks, ABC Leads the First Monday of the May Sweep in Viewers and Adults 18-49, Posting Big Gains Over the Year-Ago Night

ABC Tallies its Longest Monday Winning Streak in Well Over 7 Years

Overshadowing its Time Period Competitors in Viewers and Adults 18-49, "Dancing with the Stars" Qualifies as Monday's Most-Watched TV Show

Growing Week to Week, ABC's "The Bachelor" Tops NBC's "The Real Wedding Crashers" from 10-11pm by 3.5 Million Viewers and by 29% in Adults 18-49

Monday Night (8:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC ranked No. 1 on the first Monday of the 2007 May Sweep, leading second-place CBS by 2.6 million viewers (15.2 million vs. 12.6 million) and by 5% in Adults 18-49 (4.4/12 vs. 4.2/11). The Network logged its 7th straight Monday as the most-watched television network, while ranking No. 1 on the evening in Adults 18-49 for 6th time in the past 7 weeks. In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, ABC turned in its strongest Monday in 5 weeks since 3/26/07.

Extending its run on the evening, ABC is delivering its longest Monday Total Viewer winning streak in well over 7 years since a streak during the 1999-00 season, from 10/18/99-1/09/00.

Compared to the first Monday of the May Sweep last year, ABC's numbers climbed year to year by 8.9 million viewers and by 29% in Adults 18-49 (6.3 million & 3.4/9 on 5/1/06).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-9:45 p.m.)

Overshadowing its time period competition among Total Viewers (19.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.9/13), ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was once again Monday's most-watched TV program. In addition to ranking as the night's most-watched show, ABC's broad skewing unscripted dance competition also ranked as the No. 1 TV program of the evening in Women 18-49 (7.2/19) and Kids 2-11 (2.0/8).

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" (9:45-11:00 p.m.)

Facing competition in its time period including CBS' "King of Queens" and "C.S.I.: Miami," as well as NBC's "Heroes" and "Wedding Crashers," ABC's "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" emerged as the No. 3 TV program of the night among its core audience of Women 18-34 (4.9/13), behind only NBC's "Heroes" and ABC's "DWTS." From 10:00-11:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" topped NBC's "The Real Wedding Crashers" by 3.8 million viewers (9.4 million vs. 5.6 million) and by 42% in Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 2.6/7). ABC tied CBS' "CSI: Miami" for the No. 1 position during the 10 o'clock hour among Adults 18-34 (3.3/10).

"The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" was up week to week by 8% in Total Viewers (9.8 million vs. 9.1 million) and by 9% in Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 3.4/9). The show attracted its largest audience since its season premiere and tied its season high in Adults 18-49.
