BRAVO'S EMMY-NOMINATED "TOP CHEF 3 MIAMI" EPISODE FIVE MOST WATCHED OF THE SEASON
Two-Time Emmy-Nominee Program "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" Earns Best Performance � Ever �
NEW YORK � July 19, 2007 � The fifth episode of Bravo's Emmy-nominated "Top Chef 3 Miami" commanded record ratings making it the most watched episode of the season, averaging 2,082,000 total viewers on Wednesday, July 18, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Through the first five episodes, "Top Chef 3 Miami" has posted a 28 percent increase in total viewers over the comparable five episodes from season two (2,025,000 vs. 1,583,000) and an 18 percent increase in adults 18-49 (1,336,000 vs. 1,131,000). Last night's 10 p.m. broadcast � in which Lia was sent packing for her dish judge Gail Simmons called "not just bland, but mush in my mouth" � attracted 1,358,000 adults
18-49.
Additionally, two-time Emmy-nominated "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" earned its highest rated episode - ever - this week notching 1,088,000 total viewers and 787,000 adults 18-49, as Kathy Griffin's "D-List" indulged in some transatlantic antics with Ricky Gervais and Graham Norton, (7/17/07).
Through six episodes in cycle three, "D-List" boasts a 77 percent increase over cycle two through six episodes in adults 18-49 (670,000 vs. 379,000) and a 68 percent increase in total viewers versus last year (910,000 vs. 541,000).
Next week, Bravo's pop culture pundit and programming executive Andy Cohen hosts a candid gathering of past and present chef'testants,' along with host Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Simmons and Ted Allen on the "Top Chef: Watch What Happens Special" (Wed, July 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT). The special features Season 1's winner Harold Dieterle and finalists Lee Anne Wong and Dave Martin; joined by Season 2's winner Ilan Hall, Fan Favorite Sam Talbot, Cliff Crooks and Michael Midgely. Additionally, the first five eliminated chef'testants' from "Top Chef 3 Miami" will join the group to dish over the newest season's good, bad and overcooked.
And don't miss the season finale of "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" (Tues, July 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT). Griffin has just found out that she is being honored by Irish American Magazine as one of their Top 100 for 2007. Never mind that her mother nominated her for this award, Griffin will take any excuse she can get for a trip to New York. But when Griffin returns home and shows her mother the Irish American award, she starts to feel a hankering for reconnecting with her roots. So, when she's invited by the Irish Tourism Board to visit Dublin she jumps at the chance with team Griffin in tow. While in Ireland, Griffin wants to do a little something in memory of her father.
