TOP MODEL Ranks Second in Adults, Women and Teen Demos; Builds Week-to-Week Across the Board
GOSSIP GIRL Scores Second Best Ratings Yet in Key Demos
November 29, 2007 (Burbank, CA) - On the final night of the Nov. Sweep, The CW's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL ranks second in its time period and new hit GOSSIP GIRL scored its second highest ratings to date in key demos, according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007.
TOP MODEL opened the final night of the Nov. Sweep ranking second its time period in all key demos, including adults 18-34 (2.7/8), adults 18-49 (2.4/6), women 18-34 (3.9/11), women 18-49 (3.6/9), teens (2.4/8) and female teens (4.3/14), behind atypical competition from ABC's holiday specials.
TOP MODEL improved over last week's original episode by 69% in adults 18-34, 50% in adults 18-49, 63% in women 18-34, 44% in women 18-49, 20% in teens, 26% in female teens and 39% in total viewers (5.0mil).
The CW's new hit drama GOSSIP GIRL delivered its second best ratings to date in adults 18-34 (1.8/5), adults 18-49 (1.4/3-tie) and women 18-49 (2.1/5-tie). GOSSIP GIRL ranked first in the hour among female teens (3.9/12), delivering its best ratings in this demo since 10/10/07.
Overall, The CW ranked second on Wednesday among women 18-34 (3.3/8) and first among female teens (4.1/13).
