Tennessee-San Diego Ranks as Second-Highest Rated Single Network Game Broadcast of Season in Metered Markets
THE NFL ON CBS's broadcast of the American Football Conference Wild Card game featuring the San Diego Chargers defeating the Tennessee Titans, 17-6, on Sunday, Jan. 6, earned the highest rating/share of the four NFL Wild Card Playoff games on all networks this weekend.
The San Diego-Tennessee game earned an average overnight household rating/share of 18.6/32, up 8% from an overnight rating/share of 17.3/35 for THE NFL ON CBS's Wild Card game broadcast last year (N.Y. Jets-New England).
The San Diego-Tennessee game rating/share peaked with a 21.9/35 (7:00-7:30 PM, ET).
The game is the second-highest rated NFL single network broadcast this season in the metered markets trailing only the rating/share of 22.5/39 for the New England-Indianapolis game on CBS on November 4, 2007.
