NEW YORK � January 24, 2008 � Bravo enjoyed its second consecutive week of record breaking highs among adults 18-49 and total viewers in primetime and is on pace to achieve its best month ever in the New Year (1/7-1/20/08), according to Nielsen Media Research. With dramatic original episodes of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," "Project Runway" and Bravo's newest competition reality series "Make Me A Supermodel," the network marked its best week's performance in Bravo history in primetime among adults 18-49 (518,000) and total viewers (827,000), (1/14/08-1/20/08). Bravo is pacing to have its third consecutive highest month ever among total viewers and adults 18-49 in total day and January is pacing to be Bravo's best month ever. Additionally, the third season finale of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" attracted more than two million viewers and Bravo's newest docu-drama "The Millionaire Matchmaker" recorded nearly one million viewers this week. And, www.BravoTV.com reached new heights in January 2008, attracting more than 40 million page views for the first time in the site's history.
Following on last week's network highs, a record-breaking 2,018,000 total viewers and 1,488,000 adults18-49 watched Lauri Waring tie the knot with George Peterson on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County" third season finale on Tuesday, making the episode the highest rated in the series' history (1/22/08). In addition, over 969,000 total viewers and 718,000 adults 18-49 cozied up to elite matchmaker Patti Stanger with the series premiere of "The Millionaire Matchmaker" at 11 p.m. ET/PT, marking a 51 and 63 percent increase over the previous four week time period average among total viewers and adults, respectively. "The Millionaire Matchmaker" moves to its regular time period next week airing at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, January 29. Also on Tuesday, the ladies of Orange County dish on the behind the scenes moments of season three in a special reunion episode titled "The Real Housewives Confess: Watch What Happens Special," hosted by Bravo's Andy Cohen and featuring new interviews with all six housewives and a special visit by former "housewife" Jo De La Rosa, January 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Season three of "The Real Housewives" averaged 1,315,000 total viewers and 997,000 in adults 18-49, representing a 15 and 21 percent increase in adults and total viewers, respectively, over season two. The season three finale increased from its season two finale on March 13, 2007 by 37% among total viewers (2,018,000 vs. 1,477,000) and 29% among adults 18-49 (1,488,000 vs. 1,156,000).
Since the third season premiere, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" has shown continued success online on www.BravoTV.com, where page views are the highest ever for the series with a total of 18.5 million, up 57% compared to the same time period in season two (18.5 million vs. 11.8 million). Unique visitors to the site totaled 985,000 for season three, up 35% from the prior season's visitor count of 730,000. Video streams also showed growth with a 45% increase from season two to a current 1.5 million streams. Engagement with the site increased from last season as well where pages per unique visitor grew by 16%.
