OXYGEN BOASTS STELLAR GROWTH IN 2008 "LIVE OUT LOUD" RATINGS MILESTONES

Los Angeles - July 20, 2008 - Oxygen has broken network records and achieved new ratings milestones in 2008. Under the rebranded "Live Out Loud" tagline and attitude, Oxygen's original programming has propelled the Network to its best year ever and more people than ever are watching...

Milestones

July 14, 2008: Best Week Ever

July 7 - 13, 2008 was Oxygen's highest rated and most watched week ever among all key demos including P18-49, W18-49, W18-34 and total viewers in primetime and total day. In primetime for the week, Oxygen averaged a 0.7 HH coverage rating with 303,000 P18-49, 222,000 W18-49, 111,000 W18-34 and 580,000 total viewers. The network premiere of "Rumor Has It" on July 12 was Oxygen's highest rated and most watched telecast ever, posting a 1.3 HH coverage rating with 1.25 million viewers.

July 9, 2008: Best Digital Performance

Reaching 777,000 page views in a single day, July 9 became Oxygen's most successful day ever. Due in part from the success of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," which scored a record breaking performance the previous night, Oxygen.com scored its highest quarter ever in second quarter of 2008 with page views posting over 17.6 million. That is an increase of 347% compared to 2Q07. Oxygen.com posted its best second quarter ever for video streams, with over 5.6 million video streams, an increase of 205% over 2Q07.

July 8, 2008: Best Telecast for Women 18-49

The fourth episode of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" was Oxygen's most watched telecast in the history of the network among W18-49, "Generation O." In the timeslot, Oxygen ranked as the number two cable network for W18-49, reaching nearly one million viewers, outperforming all networks in our competitive set.

July 1, 2008: Best Quarter Ever

Oxygen celebrated its most successful quarter ever in second quarter 2008 for W18-34, W18-49, P18-49 and total viewers. Oxygen averaged a 0.4 HH coverage rating (up 33% from 2Q07) with 78,000 W18-34 viewers (up 18%), 156,000 W18-49 viewers (up 31%), 216,000 P18-49 viewers (up 34%) and 386,000 total viewers (up 29%). This quarter marked Oxygen's twelfth consecutive quarter of year-to-year growth in primetime among W18-34, W18-49 and P18-49.

June 17, 2008: Rebrand

Oxygen revealed a revamped brand, including a new logo, tagline and attitude: Live Out Loud. The network developed this approach by defining and targeting its distinct audience - young trenders who consume heavily and influence others' spending patterns. The network dubbed this audience "Generation O" -- trenders, spenders and recommenders.

June 17, 2008: Best Season Premiere

The season premiere of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" was the highest rated and most watched season debut of an Oxygen original series. Posting a 0.7 household rating, the airing was the most successful season premiere among key demos including P18-49 (450,000), W18-49 (356,000) and total viewers (667,000).

May 13, 2008: Best Telecast for Women 18-34

"The Bad Girls Club" season finale made Oxygen the highest rated and most watched cable network among W18-34 for the 10P half-hour on May 13. Scoring a 2.4 W18-34 coverage rating, and pulling in 518,000 W18-34, the airing was Oxygen's best ever telecast for W 18-34.

May 13, 2008: Best Series

"The Bad Girls Club" season two eclipsed season one as the most successful completed Oxygen original series. Compared to the full season one average, "The Bad Girls Club" season two was up 20% on P18-49 (496,000 vs. 413,000), 13% for W18-49 (366,000 vs. 323,000), 15% among W18-34 (257,000 vs. 224,000) and 16% for total viewers (681,000 vs. 588,000). The season finale of "The Bad Girls Club" on Oxygen was Oxygen's best season finale ever.

April 15, 2008: Best Series Premiere

The premiere of the series "Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love" claimed the largest audience ever for the debut of a new Oxygen series. The airing was the network's most watched series premiere among all key demos including W18-34 (250,000), P18-49 (438,000), W18-49 (334,000) and total viewers (579,000).

January 19, 2008: Oxygen Breaks One Million Viewers

The Oxygen original movie "Husband For Hire" premiered to a record-breaking performance January 19, surpassing the million mark among viewers for the first time in the network's history. With 1.1 million people on average tuning in (1.2 HH rating), the romantic comedy delivered strong numbers among key demos with 326,000 W18-49 and 397,000 P18-49 viewers, on average, tuning in.
