"NBC Sunday Night Football" No. 1 Show For 3rd Consecutive Week
NEW YORK � September 22, 2008 - The Dallas Cowboys 27-16 victory over the Green Bay Packers on "NBC Sunday Night Football," won the night while facing strong competition from the Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast on ABC and the last game at Yankee Stadium on ESPN. SNF delivered a 14.4 overnight rating and 22 share (8:30-11:15 p.m., ET), 52 percent higher than the Primetime Emmy Awards on ABC (9.5/15), and was the highest rated broadcast of the night on any network.
Last night's game registered the best metered market rating for an SNF game since the undefeated Patriots beat the Eagles 31-28 in Week 12 last season. It was the fourth highest overnight rating in the two-year-plus history of "Sunday Night Football" and 5 percent over last season's Cowboys-Bears game (13.7/22 on 9/23/07).
Based on these metered-market results and other preliminary data, "NBC Sunday Night Football" will rank No. 1 among primetime programs for the week of September 15-21 among households, average viewers and other key ratings categories, marking the third consecutive week SNF has ranked #1. Official results for the week are due from Nielsen Tuesday morning.

� From 8-11 p.m., NBC bested ABC by 43%, CBS by 48% and Fox by 226%.
� The rating peaked between 9:00 and 10 p.m., ET at a 15.4/23.
