Movie Based on Beth Holloway's Book Delivers More Than 3.2 Million Total Viewers

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 20, 2009) � Lifetime Movie Network's Original Movie Natalee Holloway delivered the Network's highest ratings ever in its 11-year history, garnering 3.2 million Total Viewers and breaking all previous records set among the Network's key women demographics with its Sunday, April 19, premiere. The movie, starring Tracy Pollan (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) as Holloway's mother Beth, was also the highest rated movie in ad-supported basic cable in the last 12 months among Women 18-49.

Based on Holloway's book, Loving Natalee: A Mother's Testament of Hope and Faith, Natalee Holloway scored record ratings among Total Viewers, Households, Women 18-49,Women 25-54 and Women 18+, according to Nielsen fast national reporting.

Natalee Holloway posted significant increases in all major categories from previous records set by Part 2 of the mini-series Capture of the Green River Killer, which aired March 31, 2008. Specifically:

Among Total Viewers, Natalee Holloway averaged 3.2 million with 1.8 P2+ rating. (The Capture of Green River Killer mini-series Part 2 garnered 2.4 million viewers with a 1.5 P2+ rating).

Among Households, the film posted 2,395,000 million households with a 3.4 rating. (The Capture of the Green River Killer Part 2 averaged 1,652,000 million households with a 2.8 rating).

Among Women 18-49, Natalee Holloway drew 1,040,000 million viewers with a 2.5 rating (up 56 percent from previous best The Capture of the Green River Killer Part 2 (1.6 rating/594,000 viewers).

Among Women 25-54, the film posted 1,090,000 million viewers with a 2.7 rating (up 35 percent from previous record from The Capture of the Green River Killer mini-series Part 2 (2.0 rating/711,000 viewers).

The Lifetime Movie Network Original film about a mother's search for truth and justice was accompanied by a public service announcement featuring Beth Holloway. In the PSA message at the conclusion of the film, Holloway emphasizes the importance of safety precautions and education for students who travel abroad.
