Part Two of Lifetime's Maneater Miniseries is Network's Highest Rated Program of the Year Among Women 18-49
Original Miniseries Finale Averages More Than 2.9 Million Total Viewers
LOS ANGELES, June 2 -- Ratings for Part Two of Lifetime Television's original miniseries event Maneater, starring Sarah Chalke (Lifetime's Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, Scrubs) and based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's (The Starter Wife) best-selling book, broke network records for the year on Sunday, May 31. The miniseries' finale doubled the Women 18-49 performance of the previous night to become the Network's highest rated original longform of the year in the demographic with a 2.1 rating. Part Two of the miniseries generated a 2.5 Household rating, averaging more than 2.9 million viewers.
The Sunday 7:00 PM encore presentation of Maneater Part One posted a solid 1.1 rating among Women 18-49, surpassing its debut performance the prior evening in the demographic.
The Network's previous record holder in Women 18-49 had been Prayers for Bobby, which on January 24, 2009, posted a 1.8 rating. Lifetime continues to be the number one-rated and most-watched ad-supported cable network for original movie premieres among Women 18+.
