CBS's SUNDAY REALITY DUO OF "BIG BROTHER" AND THE PREMIERE OF "THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD" TOPS ABC'S RETURN OF "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" AND "SHARK TANK"
"Big Brother 11" Sunday Edition Posts Best Deliveries of the Summer on Any Night in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
The Premiere of "There Goes The Neighborhood" Out Delivers the Summer Time Period by +45% in Adults 18-49 and +83% in Adults 18-34
CBS's Sunday reality duo of BIG BROTHER 11 and the premiere of THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD topped ABC's returning "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and the premiere of "Shark Tank" in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Aug. 9.
BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY was second to (NBC's "Sunday Night Pre-Season Football") in viewers (7.20m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/08), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07), +31% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/06) and added +430,000 viewers (from 6.77m, +6%). This is BIG BROTHER 11's best delivery on any night in viewers, adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and matches the best adults 25-54 delivery on any night.
At 9:00 PM, the premiere of THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD (P) was second in households (3.1/05), viewers (5.08m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.9/05, with FOX), and averaged a 1.6/04 in adults 18-49 and 1.1/03 in adults 18-34. Compared to the time period's live plus same day delivery this summer (COLD CASE), CBS was up +12% in adults 25-54 (from 1.7/04), +45% in adults 18-49 (from 1.1/03) and +83% in adults 18-34 (from 0.6/02).
