UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. August 20, 2009 NBC's "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" has won the week of August 10-14 over all broadcast and cable competition in the key late-night ratings category of adults 18-49. Conan out-delivered CBS's encore telecasts of "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the hour in every key ratings demographic: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

Conan won five of five nights last week over Letterman and "Nightline" in adults 18-49. Conan has now ranked #1 in 18-49 versus "Late Show" on 50 of 50 nights since his June 1 debut (includes one tie, excludes the week of June 29-July 3, when "Tonight" was re-titled due to delays for Wimbledon coverage). In addition to topping all broadcast competition for the week, "Tonight's" 1.4 million adults 18-49 out-scored every cable network in the hour, as well as Comedy Central's 11 p.m. ET telecast of "The Daily Show" and the 11:30 p.m. series "The Colbert Report."

At 12:35 a.m. ET, NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" was also demographically dominant last week, out-delivering CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" encores in every one of the key demographics: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. Since his March 2 debut, Jimmy Fallon has ranked #1 or tied for #1 versus Ferguson in 18-49 on 112 of 115 nights.

For the week of August 10-14, Conan's average 1.368 million adults 18-49 topped the 905,000 of Letterman's encore telecasts; in total viewers, Conan's audience of 2.670 million persons trailed Letterman's 2.950 million; and in adults 18-34, Conan's 574,000 million out-scored Letterman's 315,000.
