"BIG BROTHER 11" KEEPS GETTING BIGGER
Tuesday Broadcast Delivers "Big Brother's" Largest Audience Any Night This Summer
Last night's edition of BIG BROTHER 11 delivered the show's largest audience on any night this summer, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 1.
At 9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY was second in households (5.1/08), viewers (8.06m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08), adults 18-49 (2.6/07) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07).
Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY was up +13% in households (from 4.5/07), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07), +17% in adults 18-34 (from 1.8/06), even in adults 25-54 and added +790,000 viewers (from 7.27m, +11%). If the numbers hold, this is BIG BROTHER 11's best delivery on any night in both households and viewers.
Last night's ratings continue BIG BROTHER 11's ratings growth as it is up +8% in viewers (7.05m from 6.53m), +11% in adults 18-34 (2.0 from 1.8), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5 from 2.4) and +3% in adults 25-54 (3.0 from 2.9) compared to last summer. All three weekly broadcasts are also up versus the comparable period last summer.
