DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S STORM CHASERS BLASTS OFF WITH RECORD RATINGS
The season three premiere episode of STORM CHASERS was a ratings win on Sunday night, pulling in a 1.2 HH (1,204K), a 1.3 among M18-34 (380K) and a .83 among P25-54 (908K). The episode, which aired October 18 at 10PM, saw a 17 percent ratings gain compared to the series second season launch in October '08 (.71).
STORM CHASERS third season includes eight all-new episodes that take scientists, researchers and weather enthusiasts into nature's fury each week in their pursuit of the ultimate tornado footage. In the October 25 episode, IMAX filmmaker Sean Casey and Reed Timmer's team face off at the New Mexico/Texas border. Monster tornados break up everything in their paths - except the tension.
The series premieres Sundays at 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
