BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM Premiere Scores Television's #1 Show of the Day

Among All Key Kids and Boys Demos

Attracting More than 4 Million Total Viewers, Live-Action/CGI Movie Earns Triple Digit Increases Across the Board

Film's Performance Propels Cartoon Network to Most-Watched Network for the Day Among Boys 6-11 and Boys 9-14

Sixteen year old Ben Tennyson proved his supernatural delivery and ratings strength once more when Cartoon Network premiered the original live-action/CGI-animated movie special BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM (Wednesday, Nov. 25, 7 p.m., ET/PT), earning both broadcast and cable television's #1 telecast ranking of the day among all kids and boys demos, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. Scoring triple-digit delivery and ratings gains across the board, the 90-minute live-action film delivered 4,018,000 viewers age 2+, landing between 2007's live-action Ben 10: Race Against Time and last September's Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, which currently ranks as Cartoon Network's most-watched telecast in its 17-year history.

Overall, BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM's outstanding performance fueled Cartoon Network to the most-watched network of the dayboth total and prime timeamong boys 6-11 and boys 9-14 vs. all kid's networks. In addition to winning the night, BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM also ranked #2 in Cartoon Network history for an original movie premiere delivery of kids 6-11 (1,512,000) and kids 9-14 (1,182,000). Additionally, the action-adventure/fantasy movie ranked as the #2 Cartoon Network telecast this year among boys 2-11 (1,413,000) and boys 6-11 (1,154,000), again behind Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins.

BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM, a live-action/CGI movie based on the hit animated series Ben 10 Alien Force, follows teenage hero Ben Tennyson as he breaks ranks from the Plumbers (a secret organization that battles alien forces) to help a mysterious young woman from his past. Ryan Kelley (Prayers for Bobby) stars in the coveted role of 16-year-old Ben Tennyson, with industry veteran Barry Corbin (No Country for Old Men) starring as Grandpa Max. Galadriel Stineman (Junkyard Dog) is Gwen, Ben's super-powered cousin, and Nathan Keyes plays Kevin Levin, who has joined Ben's team for the good of the universe, but still seems to have a scheming side. Alyssa Diaz (Red Dawn) plays Elena, a long-time friend of Ben, whose search for her father leads the group into an adventure to stop an alien threat from destroying the world.

BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM is directed and executive-produced by Alex Winter, who also directed Cartoon Network's first Ben 10 live-action movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time, which scored over 13 million viewers during its Thanksgiving weekend premiere in 2007.

The Ben 10 Alien Force animated television series currently premieres new episodes on Cartoon Network Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. (ET, PT) with replays throughout the week. BEN 10: ALIEN SWARM will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc domestically in December through Warner Home Video.
