A&E FINISHES BEST NOVEMBER IN NETWORK HISTORY POSTING DOUBLE-DIGIT VIEWER GROWTH

A&E RANKS #5 AMONG ALL ENTERTAINMENT CABLE NETWORKS FOR NOVEMBER AND 2009 YEAR-TO-DATE

40th CONSECUTIVE MONTH THAT NETWORK FINISHES IN TOP 10 WITH ADULTS 25-54

NEW YORK, NY � December 2, 2009 � Continuing its ratings success, A&E enjoyed its best November ever among all key demographics behind the strength of the network's expansive slate of original series. The network was up 15% among total viewers (1.5 million), 7% in adults 25-54 (703,000) and 5% in adults 18-49 (652,000) versus November 2008, setting all-time audience levels for the month. November 2009 marked the 40th consecutive month in which A&E has landed among the top 10 with adults 25-54 in prime among all ad-supported cable networks. For the month, A&E ranked #5 in total viewers and adults 18-49 and #6 in adults 25-54 among all entertainment cable networks.

For 2009 year-to-date, A&E currently ranks number #4 among adults 25-54 and #5 among adults 18-49 and total viewers, versus all entertainment cable networks, improving its total viewer delivery by 8% versus the same time period in 2008.
