Drives Network to #6 for Week as Network's "Countdown to Christmas" Special Holiday Schedule Continues Strong Performance
The premiere of the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" ranked as the highest-rated movie of the week among all ad-supported cable networks (in HH and W25-54). The strong performance fueled the network overall to a #6 ranking for the week and continued the strong pace of Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" holiday schedule.
"Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" delivered a 3.3 household rating, almost three million homes, more than four million total viewers and 5.5 million unduplicated viewers for the family-friendly network on Saturday, December 5 (8-10 p.m.).
The movie, starring Doris Roberts and James Van Der Beek, also ranked as number-one for the time period in key demographic ratings (W25-54, 1.8; A25-54, 1.3) and delivery (W25-54, 873,000).
The strong performance of "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" lifted Hallmark Channel to rank #6 for the week with a 1.5 HH rating and #2 in Prime Time for the day among HH (2.7 rating). "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" ranks as the fourth-most-watched telecast in the network's history.
Remaining Hallmark Channel Original Movies during "Countdown to Christmas" include "Christmas in Canaan" (Dec. 12), starring Billy Ray Cyrus, and "The Three Gifts" (Dec. 19), starring Dean Cain and Jean Louisa Kelly.
