CRIMINAL MINDS delivered its largest audience since its season premiere, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE attracted its largest audience in a year and all of CBS's series scored huge increases over their last first-run episode, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 9.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (5.0/08), second in viewers (7.71m) and adults 25-54 (2.9/07, -0.1 behind ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.2/07, with FOX). Compared to its last first-run episode (Nov. 25), THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +19% in households (from 4.2/08), +26% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +29% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/06) and added +850,000 viewers (from 6.86m, +12%). This is THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best deliveries in both households and viewers since December 10, 2008.
GARY UNMARRIED (4.5/07, 7.16m) was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.9/07, with ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.4/07, with FOX, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to its last first-run episode (Nov. 25), GARY UNMARRIED was up +13% in households (from 4.0/07), +26% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/06), +33% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/06) and added +470,000 viewers (from 6.69m, +7%).
CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (14.31m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10). Compared to its last first-run episode (Nov. 25), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +9% in households (from 8.2/14), +19% in both adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09) and added +700,000 viewers (from 13.61m, +5%). This is CRIMINAL MINDS's best deliveries in households, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Oct. 21, 2009, and its best viewers delivery since Sept. 23, 2009 (the season premiere).
CSI: NY was first in households (8.4/14), viewers (13.00m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to its last first-run episode (Nov. 25), CSI: NY was up +6% in households (from 7.9/15), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/11), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/09) and added +320,000 viewers (from 12.68m, +3%).
For the night, CBS was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.58m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08).

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (4.8/08), second in viewers (7.49m) and adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, with FOX). Compared to its last first-run episode (Nov. 25), THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +14% in households (from 4.2/08), +22% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +29% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/06) and added +630,000 viewers (from 6.86m, +9%). This was THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery in viewers since Dec. 10, 2008.
