DISCOVERY CHANNELS 'MAN VS. WILD' PULLS IN RECORD RATINGS ON WEDNESDAY
- Season Premiere Garners 2nd Highest Ratings in Series History -
On January 6, 2010, the 9PM ET/PT season four premiere episode of MAN VS. WILD was the #1 non-sports, primetime cable telecast among M25-54 (1.57 AA%) and M18-49 (1.62 AA%) for ratings and delivery, pulling in more viewers than NBC's MERCY, ABC's UGLY BETTY and FOX's GLEE. The episode earned the second highest ratings in the series history among key demos.
With the help of MAN VS. WILD, Discovery Channel was the #1 non-sports cable network for M18-49 and M18-34 delivery on Wednesday night and #2 among all cable in these demos.
An all-new episode of MAN VS. WILD premieres next Wednesday, January 13 at 9PM ET/PT, when host Bear Grylls ventures to China.
