CBS's SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS delivered its largest audience since the Network began broadcasting the special in 2001 and highest demo ratings since 2007, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Feb. 3.

SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS (S) was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.18m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). Compared to last year's special (on Jan. 31, 2009), CBS was up +50% in both households (from 4.6/08) and adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), +45% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/07) and added +3.28m viewers (from 7.90m, +42%). SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS posted its best household and viewers deliveries ever and the best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 2007.

CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (9.1/14), viewers (14.78m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10) behind FOX's "American Idol."

CSI: NY was first in households (8.9/16), viewers (14.16m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). CSI: NY beat the competition combined in households (vs. 5.7/10, +56%), viewers (vs. 8.22m, +72%), adults 25-54 (vs. 3.1/09, +42%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 2.7/07, +26%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.3/14) and second in viewers (13.38m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10).

Note: CBS primetime programming was preempted/delayed from 8:00-10:00 PM due to college basketball. CBS ratings are tentative and subject to change.

Compared to last year's special (on Jan. 31, 2009), CBS was up +48% in households (from 4.6/08), +50% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), +45% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/07) and added +3.09m viewers (from 7.90m, +39%). SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS posted its best household delivery ever, best viewers performance since 2004 and its best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 2007.

CSI: NY was first in households (8.8/16), viewers (14.16m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). CSI: NY beat the competition combined in households (vs. 5.7/10, +54%), viewers (vs. 8.22m, +72%), adults 25-54 (vs. 3.1/09, +42%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 2.6/08, +31%).

For the night, CBS was second in households (8.2/14, -0.1 behind FOX), viewers (13.30m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10).
