CBS WINS THURSDAY IN VIEWERS; SECOND IN KEY DEMOS

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" Posts Gains in all Ratings Categories Opposite "American Idol"

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" Continues to Pace Ahead of Both Last Fall and Last Year's Editions

"CSI" Up in Viewers and Key Demos From Last-First Run Episode

"The Mentalist" Wins at 10:00 PM in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS placed first on Thursday in viewers and second in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 as SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS posted week-to-week growth in all ratings categories, CSI was up in viewers and key demos from its last original episode and THE MENTALIST was first in viewers and adults 25-54 at 10:00 PM, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for March 4.

SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS, airing opposite "American Idol's" elimination show, was second in households (7.2/12), viewers (12.69m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.8/11). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +7% in both households (from 6.7/10) and adults 25-54 (from 4.6/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10) and added +1.09m viewers (from 11.60m, +9%).

Compared to last fall's SURVIVOR: SAMOA, this edition is up +9% in both viewers (from 1.66m) and adults 25-54 (from 4.5/12) and +12% in adults 18-49 (3.4/10). Versus last spring's "Survivor: Tocantins," HEROES VS. VILLAINS is up +7% in both viewers (from 11.85m) and adults 25-54 (from 4.6/11) and even in adults 18-49.

CSI was first in households (9.4/15), viewers (15.57m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and averaged a 3.7/10 in adults 18-49. Compared to the last first-run episode on February 4, CSI was up +7% in households (from 8.8/14), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/11), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09) and added +1.02m viewers (from 14.55m, +7%). CSI posted its best delivery in viewers since December 17, 2009, best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since December 10, 2009.

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.3/16), viewers (14.78m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/12); the show was second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.7/14) and viewers (14.35m); it was second in both adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

CSI posted its best delivery in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since December 10, 2009.

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.4/17), viewers (14.87m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/12); the show was second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.7/14) and viewers (14.39m); it was second in both adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).
