'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' and 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' Deliver April 12-16 Late-Night Victories

'THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO' AND 'LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON' DELIVER APRIL 12-16 LATE-NIGHT VICTORIES

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 22, 2010 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" have won their time slots for week of April 12-16 over all cable and broadcast competition in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.

"Tonight " topped CBS's encores of "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon also topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in all key ratings categories. Jimmy out-delivered "Late Late Show" on five of five nights for the week in 18-49 and total viewers, while generating his biggest adult 18-49 audience in four weeks.

To date, Jay Leno has ranked #1 in adult 18-49 rating on 33 of 35 nights versus "Late Show," including two ties, since returning as host of "Tonight" on March 1. In total viewers, Jay has ranked #1 on 35 of 35 nights.

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, �Last Call with Carson Daly� (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.3 in 18-34) tied the rating of CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and finished within a tenth of a point of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in both categories.

For the week of April 12-16, Jay's average 1.376 million adults 18-49 outscored the 997,000 for Letterman's encores; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 4.052 million persons beat Letterman's 2.828 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 447,000 topped Letterman's 351,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 860,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson's 579,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.712 million trailed Ferguson's 1.482 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 322,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 218,000.
