"THE BIG BANG THEORY" MAKES MONDAY'S LOUDEST NOISE IN ADULTS 18-34, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

"How I Met Your Mother," "Rules of Engagement," "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory" and "CSI: Miami" All Up From Last Week

CBS Wins the Night in Adults 18-49

CBS's entire Monday lineup posted gains from last week, led by THE BIG BANG THEORY, the night's top program in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 10.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.1/08, 8.16m) was second in adults 18-34 (3.0/10), tied for second in adults 25-54 (3.9/10, with FOX) and averaged a 3.3/10 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +9% in households (from 4.7/08), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/10), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/09), +3% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/10) and added +790,000 viewers (from 7.37m, +11%).

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (5.1/08, 8.18m) was tied for second in adults 25-54 (3.9/10, with FOX) and averaged a 3.2/09 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +11% in households (from 4.6/07), +15% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/08) and added +970,000 viewers (from 7.21m, +13%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN (8.5/13, 13.75m) was first in adults 18-49 (4.6/12), adults 18-34 (3.0/09) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (5.8/14, with ABC). Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 12, 2010), TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +2% in households (from 8.3/13), +3% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +30,000 viewers (from 13.72m).

THE BIG BANG THEORY (8.2/13, 13.58m) was first in adults 25-54 (6.2/14), adults 18-49 (5.2/13) and adults 18-34 (3.6/10). Compared to last week (at 9:00 PM), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +17% in households (from 7.0/11), +15% in adults 25-54 (from 5.4/13), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 4.6/12), +6% in adults 18-34 (from 3.4/10) and added +1.95m viewers (from 11.63m, +17%). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted the night's best deliveries in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

CSI: MIAMI (7.2/11, 11.10m) was first in adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CSI: MIAMI was up +14% in households (from 6.3/11), +24% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09), +22% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/07) and added +1.48m viewers (from 9.62m, +15%) compared to last week.

For the night, CBS was first in adults 18-49 (3.8/10), second in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.98m) and adults 25-54 (4.7/12).
