ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Posts its 2nd-Highest Adult 18-49 Number In 4 Months and its Best Adult 18-34 Number in Well Over 2 Years

For the 3rd Straight Week, "JKL" Tops NBC's "Fallon" in Viewers and Adults 18-49

"JKL" Outdelivers "Ferguson" by 21% in Adults 18-49 for the Week, Besting Its CBS Competitor for the 3rd Week Running and the 7th Time in 10 Weeks

Weekly National Ratings: During the week of June 7, 2010, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up over the prior week in both Total Viewers (1.64 vs. 1.62 million) and Adults 18-49 (783,000 vs. 725,000). Building week to week by 8%, "JKL" posted its second-highest Adult 18-49 number in 4 months - since w/o 2/1/10. In addition, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" scored its top Adult 18-34 number (356,000) in well over 2 years - since w/o 2/4/08.

· During the week, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" outperformed NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" for the 3rd straight week in both Total Viewers (+9% - 1.64 million vs. 1.51 million) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 783,000 vs. 730,000). In fact "JKL" attracted a larger overall audience than "Fallon" for the 6th time in the last 7 weeks.

· For the 3rd week running, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" outdelivered CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in Adults 18-49, by a margin of +21% (783,000 vs. 645,000). Consistently leading with young adults, "JKL" topped "Ferguson" for the 7th time in 10 weeks in Adults 18-49.

Ratings Report for ABC News' "Nightline" For the Week of June 7, 2010

ABC NEWS' "NIGHTLINE" IS NO. 1 IN ADULTS 25-54 AND A18-49

"NIGHTLINE" GROWS +6% AMONG A25-54 AND +9% AMONG A18-49 YEAR TO YEAR

ABC News' "Nightline" was the No. 1 program among A25-54 and A18-49 for the week of June 7, 2010, outperforming CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" and NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," according to Nielsen Media Research. This is the third consecutive week "Nightline" has ranked first among A25-54 and A18-49. In the A25-54 rating (1.2), "Nightline" tied "Leno" and "Letterman" for first place. "Nightline" averaged 1.543 million for the week among Adults 25-54, growing +6% compared to the same week last year, while "The Tonight Show" declined -25% and "Letterman" remained flat. Among A18-49, "Nightline" was again the only show versus the competition to grow, averaging 1.38 million and increasing +9% year to year, while "The Tonight Show" decreased -39% and "Letterman" remained flat.

Among Total Viewers "Nightline" grew +2% year to year, while "The Tonight Show" and "Letterman" both decreased -5%. Season to date, "Nightline" posted 3.82 million Total Viewers, just 40,000 viewers away from first place.

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Martin Bashir. John Donvan and Vicki Mabrey are correspondents. James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
