NICKELODEON NOTCHES WEEKLY WIN AS BASIC CABLE'S NUMBER-ONE TOTAL DAY NETWORK

Premiere of Big Time Rush TV Movie Scores 3.3 Million Total Viewers

Nickelodeon closed the week (8/16/10-8/22/10) as basic cable's number-one network in total day with kids 2-11(3.6/1.3 million) and total viewers (2.4 million). The net was also up double-digits for the week with kids 6-11 (+13%) and tweens 9-14 (+17%). Nick's weekly win was driven by a solid performance by Big Time Rush's (Friday, August 20, 8 p.m. ET/PT) hour-long TV movie "Big Time Concert," which drew 3.3 million total viewers and averaged a 5.4/1.9 million K2-11, 7.0/1.5 million K6-11, and 6.0/1.3 million T9-14.

"Big Time Concert" ranked as Friday's number-one telecast on broadcast and basic cable with kids 2-11 and posted double- and triple-digit gains with total viewers (+47%), kids 2-11 (+64%), kids 6-11 (+119%) and tweens 9-14 (140%). Additionally, in the week leading up to the premiere of "Big Time Concert" the Big Time Rush show page on Nick.com hit a record high with 757,000 unique visitors and 3.2 million page views.

Nick's weekly win was also fueled by SpongeBob SquarePants, which scored the number-one telecast for the week with kids 2-11, was the number-one animated series on all TV with kids 6-11, and ranks as the top animated series with total viewers on basic cable.

Nickelodeon, now in its 31st year, is the number-one entertainment brand for kids. It has built a diverse, global business by putting kids first in everything it does. The company includes television programming and production in the United States and around the world, plus consumer products, online, recreation, books and feature films.
