NICKELODEON'S VICTORIOUS RANKS AS BASIC CABLE'S NUMBER-ONE PROGRAM ON FRIDAY WITH 3.6 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS

New Episode Also Nabs Friday's Top Spot on All TV with Kids and Tweens

A new episode of Victorious (August 27, 8 p.m. ET/PT), "Wi-Fi in the Sky," scored the top spot on basic cable with total viewers (3.6 million) on Friday night and ranked as broadcast and basic cable's most-watched program with kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14. The new half-hour episode also posted high double-and triple-digit increases, averaging a 5.4/ 1.9 million K2-11 (+74%), 7.1/1.5 million K6-11 (+129%), and a 6.5/1.4 million T9-14 (+195%).

Against direct competition, "Wi-Fi in the Sky" bested the closest competition on basic cable by double digits with kids 2-11 (+23%), kids 6-11 (+34%) and tweens 9-14 (+55%) and total viewers (+27%). The new Victorious also outperformed broadcast network television offerings like NBC's Who Do You Think You Are? and ABC's Wife Swap.
